About Meadow Window
Meadow Window is an independent reference covering handmade decorative projects made at home in Canada. It documents working methods for a small set of crafts — macramé, crochet and hand-poured candles — in plain language, without selling materials or running classes.
What we cover
Each guide is organised the same way: the material and its properties, the tools needed, a working sequence, and finishing and care notes. Where the Canadian climate, available materials or local waste-sorting rules change a method, that context is noted directly in the guide.
How the guides are written
The content reflects generally documented craft practice. Where exact figures vary by supplier, formulation or municipality, the guides point you to the manufacturer's instructions or your local rules rather than stating a single number. Photographs are contributed by Wikimedia Commons photographers under Creative Commons licenses.
